On April 27, I was invited for a fireside chat with my buddy Leo Pham and Startup Grind Vietnam.
Leo moderated a really nice open-forum chat, with great crowd participation – the turnout was solid, but still small enough to feel intimate.
Big shoutout to all my friends from the VIISA community, and other homies who came out to support!
Before we started, Leo had the idea to move the chairs around to be more of a circle for inclusive conversation, rather than an audience. It was a good move (nice one, Leo!)
The conversation touched on everything from startups, bootstrapping vs. raising capital, and SaaS, to a good amount of philosophy, stoicism, mindfulness, and meditation.
I came away from the event with a handful of new friends that I’ve kept in touch with to this day, including a number of great entrepreneurs, marketers, and developers.
Big thanks to Leo and the Startup Grind Vietnam team for hosting me!
